The successful internationalisation offensive go-international has been supporting Austrian companies in their international business activities since 2003. So far, a total of 41,800 companies have been supported. The implementing partner is the Foreign Trade Organisation of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKÖ). For the eighth period of go-international (1 April 2023 to 31 March 2027), the Ministry of Economics is providing 51.2 million euros.
The thematic focus is on innovation and technology, value chains, green tech and digitalisation. The services provided by go-international include information, consulting, events and direct funding. Direct funding can be applied for for international market entry, digital internationalisation, the development of alternative procurement markets, further training or international project business.
In connection with the reconstruction in Ukraine, go-international offers special activities and events in Austria, Ukraine and selected foreign markets for infrastructure projects and business opportunities for Austrian companies.

The Internationalisation Offensive go-international is a promotional programme to support exporters and investors in their trading activities abroad.
The offer includes support programmes for export-oriented companies in every phase of operation, such as start-ups or the development of new markets.
The programme also offers support in the area of service export and technology transfer as well as direct financial support.
go-international is supported by the Federal Ministry of Labour and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKÖ).

Internationalisation cheque
The funding bodies support you in opening up new target countries with a grant of 50% of your market entry costs, which serve your physical presence on site. The prerequisite for this is a market entry plan in which you put together your personal mix of measures for sustainable market entry.
This funding is available exclusively to active members of the Chambers of Commerce and Chambers of Civil Engineers who wish to export their own products or services and provide substantial added value in Austria .
